JAPAN SESSION: OPEN INNOVATION AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY IN DEEP-TECH
Organised by the Japan Patent Office (JPO) and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), the Japan Session in IP Week @ SG 2019 will take the theme of “Open Innovation and Intellectual Property in Deep-Tech”.
The session will feature an introduction of recent initiatives by the JPO aimed at finding new ways to utilize patent data to improve the matching of startups, SMEs and deep-tech companies, as well as a panel discussion in which R&D leaders in Japanese Companies share their experiences and strategies in open innovation.
